Chocolate Mexicano
6 cups milk In saucepan combine milk, sugar, chocolate, cinnamon, and salt. Heat and stir till chocolate melts and milk is very hot. Gradually stir 1 cup of the hot mixture into eggs; return to saucepan. Cook 2 to 3 minutes more over low heat. Remove from heat. Add vanilla; beat with rotary beater till very frothy. Pour into mugs; garnish with cinnamon sticks, if desired. Makes 6 servings. |
