Coffee Can Bread
1-¼ cup whole wheat flour Combine whole wheat flour and yeast in saucepan. Add ½ cup water and next 4 ingredients. Warm slightly over low heat, mixing well. Beat in eggs. Add flour, mixing well. Batter will be lumpy. Grease 2 one pound coffee cans, placing half of batter in each. Let rise, covered, with plastic lids in warm place to 1 inch from top of can. Bake, uncovered, at 375 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. |
