FRESH STRAWBERRY PIE Combine sugar, cornstarch, and water in a saucepan. Stir until dissolved and blended. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thick and clear. Add jello, stir until dissolved, cool thoroughly at room temperature. Wash, hull, and slice in half strawberries. Arrange in pie shell. Spoon cooled gelatin evenly over all. Chill until set. Serve with whipped cream.
1 cup flour Mix together. Knead. Roll out on floured surface to 1/8 inch thickness. Makes 2 shells or 1 two-crust pie shell. |
