Golden Lentil Soup
1 cup orange lentils
6 cups water
4 chicken bouillon cubes
4 carrots, chopped
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tsp. curry powder
pinch cayenne, or to taste
Bring all of the ingredients to a boil in a large pot and simmer for 30 minutes, or until
the lentils are tender. mash the lentils or puree them in a blender or food mill. This
recipe works equally well with regular lentils or split peas. Freezes well.
