Lamb Chops Sicilian

4 lamb shoulder chops
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. Dried oregano leaves
2 cup dry bread crumbs
2 tbsp. salad oil
1 clove garlic
2 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Black pepper
1/4 cup minced parsley
lemon slice and parsley to garnish

Brush lamb chops on both sides with lemon juice. Sprinkle with the oregano. Place on foil-covered pan on metal serving tray.

Broil 4 inches from heat source for 8-10 minutes on each side.

Meanwhile, mix crumbs, oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and parsley.

Place chops on heat-proof serving tray. Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Just before serving, place under broiler 5-6 inches from heat and brown crumbs for 2-3 minutes.

Garnish with lemon slice and parsley sprig.
