Sausage and Spinach Fritatta

1 package (10 ounces) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
1 tbsp. margarine or butter
4 eggs
1/4 cup water
1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves
1/2 tsp. black pepper
4 ounces smoked sausage, cut lengthwise into halves and sliced

Cook spinach in margarine in 10 inch ovenproof skillet over medium heat 5 minutes. Meanwhile, beat eggs with water, basil, salt and pepper in medium bowl. Pour into skillet; stir briefly, then cook 1 minute. Arrange sausage on egg mixture. Broil, 4 inches from heat, about 2 minutes or until puffed and golden. To serve, cut into wedges.

Makes 4 servings.
