SNICKERDOODLE COOKIES
1 CUP SHORTENING
1 ½ CUPS SUGAR
2 EGGS
2 3/4 CUPS FLOUR
2 TSP. CREAM OF TARTAR
1 TSP. BAKING SODA
½ TSP. SALT
MIX TOGETHER UNTIL SMOOTH. ROLL INTO BALLS THE SIZE OF SMALL
WALNUTS. ROLL IN A MIXTURE OF 2 TBSP. SUGAR AND 1 TSP. CINNAMON. SPACE 2 INCHES APART ON
COOKIE SHEETS. BAKE AT 400 DEGREES FOR 8-10 MINUTES.
MAKES 5 DOZEN COOKIES.
