Swedish Nut Cake

1 cup chopped nuts
2 tsp. vanilla
1-¾ cup sugar
2 cup flour
2 tsp. soda
2 eggs
1 can (10 oz.) crushed pineapple
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1-¾ cup powdered sugar
1 stick margarine, softened

Combine ½ cup nuts, 1 tsp. vanilla and next five ingredients in large bowl, mixing well. Pour into greased and floured 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.

Combine remaining 1 tsp. vanilla and next 3 ingredients in bowl, beating until creamy. Frost cooled cake. Sprinkle with remaining ½ cup nuts.
